I need a second opinion...
My husband has for years now been teaching me the fine art of frugal living. I will admit, I still have a long way to go, but I really don't make that many crazy purchases. However at the moment I am pregnant and I have raging hormones, right? I mean they're out of control, right? There is a good chance that these hormones are responsible for all lack of reasonable decision making. I just can't help it, it's biology.

So if I want to spend $95 on a hip and trendy hospital gown, instead of wearing the ones provided to me for free, do I get to use the excuse that the hormones made me do it? Or am I just flat out crazy?
Now before you decide look at how cute these gowns are! They look like dresses, and I mean hello...everyone is going to be taking a hundred photos of me...well, ok not really of me, mainly the baby, but I will still be in the background!

These are my two favorite designs but check out all of the other designs that they have on their website http://www.shopbyog.com/index.html Granted, even if I get the gown I haven't figured out how to convince my hairdresser to do my hair and make-up while I am in there...hmmm
Leave me a comment and I will tally up the votes:
- Yes, you're one crazy pregnant chick
- No, go on then, it will make you feel better on the big day

I think if you can afford it-go for it. You can wear it at home after the baby is born too!
It's funny, I'm trying to decide the same thing. I'm not quite 38 weeks pregnant, and on the hospital tour I got a look at the horrible gowns they expect us to wear. For one thing, I'm afraid they're not going to fit me--I'm 6 feet tall and, um, rather wide around at the moment. ON the other hand, that's a lot of money to spend for something that I'm going to wear once. Right?
I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

beautiful art work.
If anyone has kids who are interested in breaking into the fashion industry, there’s a new online contest. You can find it at The Fashion Fantasy Game (http://www.fashionfantasygame.com/). It’s called the Jordin Sparks Jingle Dress Contest.
This contest was designed specifically for the Christmas season. Players can design their own virtual clothes in the game and engage in some friendly competition with other players. It's much better than having your kid go to the mall and waste your money on real clothes that will be out of style by next year.
Oh, and don't forget -- The Fashion Fantasy Game isn't just a game. It's also an open forum for discussion. If you have anything to say about Governor Blagojevich, feel free to say it while chatting, or just email it to User Feedback. I'm sure his name is easier to write than to say!
